Summer Winding Down - LifeLight Festival - & Blah
...summer is rolling to an end...driving up to LifeLight this weekend. Very excited! I cant believe that 4 years ago, we were coming up here for the first time. Good times. We met so many fans that year, and so many of them are still with us. We've gotten lots of letters and emails about how excited our Midwest fan base is to see Everfound play Mainstage at one of the country's largest music festivals. We feel like we owe a huge thank you to all our supporters. Man! We've really got the best fans in the world...Another cool update - we've fixed up our tour bus!! Its not 100% done, but almost there. Got it painted, fixed up the rooms inside, set up electrical...next is are the LED party lights and awesome furniture to make it into a killer bus. I'm thinking we'll post pics when we're all done, as of now we've been documenting the whole project. We're writing alot of new songs lately too. And actually, just spoke with one of our co-writers from Nashville and our songs are being listened to by some industry folks so if you can, be praying the right doors open, and the wrong ones close :) ALSO, stay tuned for a really cool announcement...we'll be playing alot of shows this Nov./Dec.....but I wont say much more. Don't want to ruin the surprise!!

summer thoughts...
...there is a sweetness about playing a camp for students. Last week we had the privilege of playing everyday for awesome students from all across the Colorado area. It was such a blast getting to know some of them, and just hanging out in the CO mountains. Ahh. I cant believe we are so fortunate to get to do this. Play in one place every night, and have students come listen and join in...this Friday we'll be playing at a festival, Night Vision in Olathe CO, and we all are very excited as this is the first major festival for us this season. The other day I got a call, and during the conversation I found out we'll be playing Mainstage at Heaven Fest AFTER a national signed artist. Everyone was super stoked for the opportunity to say the least... So far this summer has been one of the busiest we've ever played, but it has also been one with the most adventure and smiling faces...and nothing beats that :)

Iowa/Summer Festivals/Fall Ideas :)
Dear Friends, today is June 18th. We're in Northern Iowa. Gonna play mainstage at a festival tonight. Yesterday on our way up here, we encountered a reckless thunderstorm that forced us to pull over to the nearest gas station and wait as it did whatever it pleased. It was pretty amazing being in the middle of the storm...We're very excited to be facing the 2nd half of the year, as this is festival season and incase you did not hear the announcement, we'll be playing mainstage at Lifelight Festival as well as Heaven Fest. We're SO excited as these are two of the bigger festivals in the mid/west US. We're also excited to be venturing into a new area with our music as we write more and more new songs...is there a place you want us to play this fall? Snow in May!?
Today is May 11th, we're on a several day break from the west coast spring tour. Believe it or not, but it is snowing in arvada...global warming? Mhmmm. The good part is that we're leaving back to CA on Friday! But untill then, our mother has cooked a Russian, traditional soup, an there is no better thing than sipping hot soup, watching the snow, on a day off in the middle of May.

Spring Plans
It's been exactly a month since I last updated this journal...so sorry! I wanted to share whats been cooking lately...first, let me say we can't wait to play 5 - 6 shows a week and go EVERYWHERE and hang out with ALL our friends every night! We'll be posting some new west coast dates for this Spring really soon. Some of the cities are: Billings MT, Spokane WA, Seattle WA, Salem OR, Sacramento CA, Fresno CA, and of course San Diego and the LA area. Yes, we're very excited about this spring! Meanwhile, we're also looking into possibilities to come out to the mid-states...this tour would take us all over NE, SD, ND MN, IA, KS and OK (possibly TX too!). Also, in a few weeks, specifically March, we'll be playing a few dates in KS and MO. If you're in the Salina KS or Hays KS or St. Louis areas, please come to a show! In the summer, we'll be playing several festivals as well, so keep on the look out for that! See you soon!

...mhm...
...spent the last few weeks writing new songs...and the last few days, booking the heck out of our 2010....really hoping to have many many shows this year! but we shall see. hey! if you're on the western slope, we were just confirmed to play @ night vision festival...google it...we're stoked to be apart of that. also just got some info from a few other festivals we maybe part of this year. very excited to be back on the road and hanging out with friends and fans....its no fun sitting at home.... even though all this has to be taken care of, we still love playing shows the most. there's something about connecting and seeing smiling faces every night. weather its in billings montana, sweet home colorado or in orange county california we are dying to get back on the road....this will be an epic year.... p.s. send us your thoughts on where we should play this year...would love to hear from you :) band@everfoundmusic.com

2010!
Just got off the phone with our Marketing Director, we are so blessed to be working with an amazing team of people who really believe in our songs and stand up for our calling!! We are so thankful for our management and marketing team, so far all the plans for 2010 are epic to say the least, and even though some of them are still "plans" they are bound to become realities that will send us off on an amazing journey in 2010. Amidst all the music business meetings lately, its been amazing to get on here and write entries to share some heart with you guys. Its so great having this journal up here because even though we post too often, when we do, we really feel like we're connecting with our listeners...so as you're reading this, I want to say thank you....2010 is going to be big for us, and the part that blows my mind most is the fact that God has prepared every concert/appearence stage/venue up to every heart that will encounter our music in 2010. We really believe that...there will be new music out, new videos possibly, tours and of course more video blogs. Also, the street team will be launching shortly. (as soon as we get some more stuff confirmed...) we're SO stoked for 2010 and are really hoping you can come with us!

Falling Leaves and Falling Thoughts
Even though we usually write everyday, these last few weeks have filled many pages with honest thoughts. Guts and all their glory…but it feels good to get it out. Maybe the falling leaves and sudden snow storms crack the door a little more. (Or the side-of-the-road break downs and amazing new friends!) Either way, its been a very good couple of weeks and we’ve never been more excited for the future. There are incredible plans for the coming year being made as we live out the remainder of 2009. Wow. Hard to accept the fact that 2009 is close to dying…oh how far we’ve come and how blessed are we?

Journal
We're driving into Arvada, and its pouring. I love it when we get to drive in the rain...nothing quite like the taste and smell of air after a thunderstorm. Something freeing when you see so much water clearing the earth and air... Looking back, its hard to believe the last few days happened. Never in our minds did we think "She Said" would become an award winning song, and that we would be brought out to Nashville TN for a private showcase at one of downtown Nashville's killer venues. After a week of music business meetings, I swear there must be 10 business men per every musician. All these people out to make a buck off the next big thing and its awesome, in its own way. But I guess so far our family has been doing real well in getting Everfound where we are today. God is good, and it looks like the next step is getting closer and closer... However, I must confess to you that we're really not hasty to sign any record deal. We believe the perfect deal is already written, and on the perfect-deal-day God will lay it into our hands...now its just a matter of being patient and seeking the Kings will.

On the more creative side of things, we've been writing new songs for the new coming record! I heard Ruslan jamming out on the guitar 2 minutes after we walked into the house... This place is becoming more and more uncomfortable and the van is becoming more and more like home... (The other night my mom told my dad to open the house, standing next to the van :) This is our life, and this is who we are. Its a blessing being able to spill our hearts and souls (and lots of sweat!!!!) in front of well known music industry executives in Nashville one night, and drive 20 hours to share it with over 400 screaming fans in the mountains of Colorado the next. We love it. Thank you so much for allowing us to do what we do. We love you guys and really appreciate you reaching out to us. Weather that be at a show, or through an email or letter or just read this journal :) thank you.

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.

Just an update
It is Sunday and we just got back from church. Larry got baptized today!! We were all excited and celebrated with Chinese food.
I wanted to write you, and let you in on what will be happening this Aug. We'll be playing around 17 concerts, traveling to Nashville for a private event, and then playing a short tour with our good friends Remedy Drive.

Please be keeping us in your prayers, as some events are taking place and I cant mention them here yet because I'm not sure if I'm allowed. Very exciting times are coming for Everfound, and it feels SO good to receive confirmations daily that this is what our family needs to be doing at this time in our lives. I want to sincerely thank you for being a part of this journey. Please keep telling your friends about Everfound, writing blogs, reviewing our new record on Itunes and getting the songs heard!! Oh and coming to shows most definitely. You inspire.

p.s. we have already filled up alot of pages of brand new songs and ideas for the next record...oh and I keep forgetting to say I heard a rumor about a music video in the near future? Shhh you didn't get that here...

A new Chapter
Hello extended family, welcome to the journal portion of the new site. We've spent weeks trying to get this thing up and now TA DAH!!! So we really do hope you enjoy it. So, in this journal we'll be writing our thoughts about what goes on in our lives. This is not meant to be a "news section" but more of a "whats going on in our hearts and heads" section. A cracked door, if you will, into our families lives. Honestly, we had no idea we would find ourselves where we are today. God is good, because He has introduced us to you and you to us and together we share this journey. Thank you so much for being so supportive. Cant wait to fill this thing up with stories of tours, concerts, interviews, photo shoots and late night song writing secrets.
